Giant Step:
Kutiman has a new YouTube piece out and it’s kind of rocking our world. Part of hisThruYou series, this one’s a little different; Instead of trawling the web for obscure snippets and masterly weaving them into a single piece of audible glory, Kutiman chose to work from original content this time. Traveling to Jerusalem, he met with and filmed different musicians in the historic and diverse city. The piece is pretty epic; Kuti’s signature treatment serves as a beautiful reminder of how different but similar everything can be. Take a look at previous works of Kutiman we’ve posted, as well.
